What To Expect From Your Surgery

Our surgeons perform breast augmentation as an outpatient procedure using general anesthesia. The surgery takes about 1 to 2 hours, and you can return home the same day.

• Incision Placement: Your surgeon will create small, strategic incisions based on your surgical plan.
• Implant Insertion: Using the Keller Funnel®, they place the implant in the pre-determined position—either under or over the chest muscle.
• Incision Closure: Your surgeon closes your incisions with sutures and applies a surgical dressing to aid healing.

Your surgeon will provide personalized postoperative care instructions to ensure a smooth, comfortable recovery.

• First Few Days: Expect mild swelling and tightness. Prescription or over-the-counter pain medication helps you manage discomfort.
• After 1 Week: You can likely return to work and normal activities.
• 2 to 4 Weeks: You can resume light exercise.
• 6 Weeks & Beyond: Most swelling subsides, and final results begin to emerge.
